Name: Bundesrepublik Deutschland... but you can call me Germany, or Ludwig.

Age: I look eighteen... I'm actually one of the younger countries, though, just a little over two hundred years old. People tend not to let me live that down.

Hobbies: Things I do? Does cleaning count? Oh, and I enjoy cooking, and reading books - I love books - and going running, or anything exercise related. It feels good. I also enjoy designing and building new things, and playing with my dogs.

Likes: Beer and wurst (and all other German food, it's quite good if you'd give it a chance), Berlin, cars, learning things, organization, hard rock, my bruder, my pets, the Black Forest, being out-of-doors, engineering, and... well, some other things.

Dislikes: Dirt, chaos, wasting time, and America's obsession with making Nazi movies. Oh, and Russia. I'm not sure anyone likes Russia, though.

About me: Like I said, I'm one of the younger nations, so I don't have too many interesting stories to tell. My bruder, Gilbert, raised me and helped my bosses believe in my strength as a country, but that power has been misused a lot over the last century. I'll tell you about it if you ask politely, but those aren't times I enjoy remembering. And then afterwards, with die Berliner Mauer... I wasn't fighting anyone, but those were difficult years too. I'm honestly thankful that things are going so well nowadays; my Prime Minister's a wonderful lady, and my economy isn't failing either. If you'd like to get to know me better, I guess we can go out for a beer sometime... just not on a work night, please.
